economically speaking the amount of money spent on an election has nothing to do with the way the public votes. There are instances where people have ran year after year spending more each time and their share of the votes fluctuated by such a small margin, always too little to win, that it couldn't have anything to do with the money spent. It is really just down to whither they like you as a candidate or not, so i suppose they just like UKIP better than the Greens.

The aim of his incarceration is punishment, of course of it is punishment. The details of his trial are irrelevant -- he was found guilty, and without an appeal to say otherwise, he is still guilty. Personally I think he should be transferred to a Libyan gaol to at least allow his family and friends to see him before he dies. What Qaddafi does thereafter is not our concern. To release him now, having been convicted of the murder of 270 people, would not be justice at all.

The United States' decision to condemn the possible release of Mr al-Megrahi is incomparable to the current criticism of the NHS -- opinions of Mr al-Megrahi are almost uniform across political allegiances, whereas criticism of the NHS has centred around a single MEP pandering to the GOP.

Ha!

I find this bizarre - "Had the Green vote combined with ours, Labour would have come third."

a) why would the two votes combine?

b) what's the big deal about beating Labour?

The oddity of the maths combined with the poverty of their ambition makes this a wonderful spot - thanks!

OMG, where to begin with their green failures. Liberal Ministers ramming through motorways the length and breadth of Scotland and planting GM crops, councillors in the northeast backing Heathrow expansion, the list is endless. Crazy people, srsly, if they want to have this discussion in public.

Norwich North should also be the debut for the NOTA parties candidate Anne Fryatt.

Nota was registered to allow "None of the above" to be registered as a meaningful vote "None of the above" is a prohibited expression in the name of a political party but "NOTA" isn't.

An Initial web presence can be found at http://www.nota.org.uk

I'd just like to point out Glen Tingle has never had any contact with the NF what so ever, he has made that clear to everyone. The rumour that he had was started by a BNP member on a public forum since then it has spread like gospel. If you would like to speak to Glen he would be more than happy to call the Norwich North campaign office on 01603 412 643
